Privacy policy

Memory Games is developed by Kabware Services Limited ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how the Memory Games mobile application ("the App") handles your information.

The short version

Memory Games does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no tracking of any kind.

What we collect

Nothing.

Memory Games has no user accounts, no registration, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting service. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information, and the App has no way to send such information anywhere.

What stays on your device

The App saves your game progress so you can pick up where you left off:

  • Your best score for each game, topic and level
  • Which levels you have completed, and which you completed perfectly
  • A saved position if you leave a level part-way through
  • Your sound and music preferences

All of this is stored in the App's own private storage on your device. It never leaves your device, it is not backed up to us, and we cannot see it. Deleting the App deletes all of it permanently.

Internet use

Memory Games downloads its word lists from a public file on GitHub so that new topics and words can be added without you needing to update the App. This happens over a secure (HTTPS) connection when the App starts.

This is a one-way download. The App requests a public file; it does not send any information about you, your device, or how you play. No identifiers, no usage data, nothing.

After the word lists have been downloaded, the App works without an internet connection.

Children

Memory Games is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — because it does not collect information at all.

Third parties

Memory Games contains no advertising networks, no analytics providers, and no social media integrations. We do not sell, rent, or share data with anyone, because we do not have any data to share.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores collect their own information about downloads under their own privacy policies, which we do not control:

Word lists are served from GitHub. Requesting a file from GitHub involves your device connecting to GitHub's servers, which is subject to GitHub's own privacy policy.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. Everything the App knows about your play is on your own device and under your control. Deleting the App removes it.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at https://kabware.co.uk/memorygames/privacy with a new "Last updated" date. If the App ever begins collecting data — which we have no plans to do — this policy will be updated and the change made clear before it takes effect.
